Objectives:
The project required WJ Marine to transform the exteriors of two large vessels within a short timeframe of 28 days. The task involved captive blasting of 15,000 sqm, and applying a four-coat system on three car decks, all while battling unpredictable weather conditions.

Collaboration with Stena Line and suppliers started early, enabling the team to get an accurate scope of work, understand each ship’s unique requirements, and plan for efficient execution.

Results:
Despite the challenges, WJ Marine delivered exceptional results, effectively refurbishing 15,000 sqm of the ship exteriors. All works were inspected and approved by an independent paint inspector, affirming the high standards of quality maintained throughout the project.
